Every moms dilemma is deciding what to cook for dinner tonight! I spend every week making grocery list and planning dinners for the week.

Lucky for me I love cooking, and I love planning dinners. My goal is to share more of my recipes with you all!

Last week I made these shrimp tacos and they were seriously so delicious! They were super flavorful and my entire family loved them! Thats always a win!

See below for the grocery list and recipe breakdown!

Grocery List for Shrimp Tacos

  • Corn Tortillas

  • Shrimp

  • Fage Greek yogurt (or any plain yogurt)

  • 2 limes

  • Cilantro

  • Old bay seasoning

  • Cabbage

  • Garlic

  • Garlic salt

  • Avocado

  • Cooking oil (I use avocado)

  • Optional (Bitchen Sauce, I use the cilantro flavor)

How to cook the shrimp

Peel & de vein your shrimp. Drizzle a little oil on your shrimp and then sprinkle them generously with old bay seasoning and garlic salt. Heat a pan over medium heat, cook the shrimp a couple minutes on each side until they are fully pink.

Cilantro yogurt sauce

Mix 1 cup of Greek yogurt, a bunch of cilantro, 1 garlic clove, the juice of 1 lime, and garlic salt (add slowly to taste) in a food processor. Blend really well until you have a combined sauce and the cilantro is chopped up. If you need to thin out the sauce a little, add a little bit of oil or water.

How to assemble the tacos

Heat your corn tortillas in a skillet prior to assembling. Chop up some cabbage and mix in a spoonful of the cilantro yogurt sauce.

Add to your tortilla a spoonful of bitchen sauce if you choose to. I used the cilantro flavor. Then add about 3 pieces of shrimp. Top with cabbage, slices of avocado, cilantro yogurt sauce, and squirt a little bit of extra lime on top.

If you are carb conscious, add your shrimp and toppings to a lettuce wrap!

Enjoy!
