Meet Sarah,

A certified holistic health coach, she received her education from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Along side her certification, she has her Bachelors in Exercise Physiology from Chico State. She works along side women to give them the confidence and tools to realize how much power they have over their own health. She will help you change your lifestyle, eat to nourish, implement movement and exercise, and learn to change your mindset to reduce stress.

MY Story…

I have always been active, I played sports or worked out most of my life. During my college years I was stuck in a viscous cycle of binge drinking, late night drunchies, and restricting my calories. The next day I would spend hours in the gym trying to make up for the night before. I tried every diet and trend that I heard of when it came to weight loss. I was unhappy, lacked confidence, and dealt with a lot of anxiety.

To make things “better” I went and did bikini competitions. With that I again restricted calories and worked out a lot! I looked great, but looking back I was doing more damage. I restricted my body from certain foods & that only made me crave them more. I was not setting healthy habits & I was putting my body under a lot of stress.

Flash forward to 2020, I just had my second child and I was in a better place, but I was experiencing a lot of anxiety, panic attacks, & acne. I went to my primary care physician and had her order every lab under the sun. My panic attacks were so bad that they prevented me from going back to work. We ordered thyroid labs, food sensitivity test, and other basic labs. Everything turned out “normal” but I knew the way I felt wasn’t “normal”. My doctor wanted to prescribe me birth control and accutane and call it a day! I refused, I did not want to mask symptoms I wanted to get to the root cause.

This led me on a journey to become a health coach through IIN. I am a big believer of getting to the root cause of diseases. I have worked in the medical field for 7 years now as of 2022 and I see what long term damage does to our bodies. I want to help people find the power in healing before they end up wasting away in a hospital bed. Also when working as a personal trainer, I felt like there was a missing piece. Health is way more than exercising and eating well. I want to help clients get to the root cause and work on building long term sustainable habits. We must release what is familiar in order to grow!
